What A Memorial Day!
These Puppies pictured below are all available, however several people are interested. As of 6/8/00 there are 5 puppies (pictured below) that do not have a deposit on them. The color names relate to the color of nail polish used on the nape of their neck to keep track of which one is which. As you can see, they are strikingly similar. This is an extremely good litter!! The pictures are "thumbnails", so click any one of them for a larger picture.
The four others that are sold are not shown:
"Red Female"; "Red Male"; "Red/Green Male" ; "Peach/Green Male".
Mary Rodgers, owner of Marienburg Kennel, and International Judge, (seen above) spent most of Memorial Day with my family and the ten little pups. I so appreciate her time and patience. I must also thank my brother for the wonderful photos and web page. And a big thank you to my nephew Paul, age 12. With his help doing the temperament testing and the socializing, all ten puppies scored neither aggressive, nor shy. (We do, however, have one beautiful male that scored, "Independent"). A copy of each puppy’s test will be supplied. It is quite extensive. I encourage all puppy owners to enroll their puppies in a "kindergarten" puppy class as soon as they are old enough. It sure makes for a happier home life!
O
ver all, Mary graded the litter as "very nice". All ten pups have good top lines and tail sets. They have nice feet and their teeth are all there. Their eyes are all nicely shaped and dark in color. She said they all have "exceptional rears". Where the pups varied was in their heads and individual faces. There is one male that has dark face markings, and one female that is slightly dark in the face. The rest are nicely marked. A few have neck cowlicks, of the type brought to National attention by Ch. Toledobe’s Serenghetti. One of the females Mary called, "a doll". All of them, she said, were attractive and well balanced, over all. Several of the males could be show prospects.H
er biggest criticism was that some of their tails are too long. That will be correctedwhen their ears are done June 9th
… All in all, it was a good day, though it’s a bit nervewracking to have your babies judged. However, they came through with flying colors!
I
intend to keep each puppy until the stitches are out unless other arrangements are made. The puppies will be available to go to their new homes after June17. Purchase price to include tails, dewclaws, at least the first two puppy shots, two wormings and a shot record booklet, a copy of its temperament test, pedigree and registration, and a picture with Mary Rodgers. If the puppy does not work out I will gladly take it back. I’m also including a five-pound container of Canidae dog food. Read the label. It’s good stuff.P
urchase Price is $1,200 each.
